When Chief Bogo orders them into Partners in Crisis counselling, a mysterious pit viper named Gary De'Snake slithers into Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. Gary De'Snake is a genuinely inspired addition: a reptile in a city built for mammals, raising the same prejudice questions the first film handled so well. The new districts and the returning faces (Gazelle, Flash, Clawhauser) all point to a sequel that understands what made the original special.
